Grand Opening Alert: These Restaurants Are Coming Soon

Three much-anticipated openings.

One65

7th West
Oakland
ETA: Summer 2018
A beer garden, art gallery, and dog park all in one, this community-oriented West Oakland spot will also provide a brick-and-mortar home for chef Dennis Villafranca, who runs the Filipino food truck Jeepney Guy. Expect lechon, lumpias, and Filipino-inspired cocktails.
1255 7th St. (at Union St.)

One65
Union Square
ETA: Fall 2018
The ambitious six-story complex from chef Claude Le Tohic and the Alexander's Steakhouse group will spotlight all things French. A first-floor patisserie (pictured above) will debut in the fall, followed by a casual Cal-French eatery, a wine bar, and, finally, a fine-dining restaurant called O’ by Claude Le Tohic.
165 O’Farrell St. (near Powell St.)

Luke’s Lobster
SoMa
ETA: Fall 2018
The first Bay Area location of Luke Holden’s East Coast lobster roll chain is betting that its heretofore reliable formula for success will play well in seafood-crazy San Francisco: fresh Maine lobster sourced from the restaurant’s own sustainable-seafood company and served chilled on a buttered split-top roll—for a relatively modest cost.
92 2nd St. (near Mission St.)
