ETA: Spring 2019 The old Bank of America building is finally getting the swanky power-lunch spot the finance bros at Goldman Sachs have been waiting for, complete with private wine and liquor lockers, and elevated interpretations of classic American fare—all courtesy of the Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group. Good news for fans of Stones Throw, the group’s recently shuttered Russian Hill mainstay: Chef Robin Song and his team will shift right over to the Vault (shown here). 555 California St. (at Kearny Street)

A charcuterie stand popular at East Bay farmers markets will open its first brick-and-mortar shop in Albany’s Solano Avenue neighborhood. Beyond Picnic’s usual repertoire of sausages and salumi, the store will feature rotisserie-cooked meats, hot and cold takeout-friendly prepared foods, and some standing counters and sidewalk tables for customers who want to dine in. 862 San Pablo Ave. (at Solano Avenue)

Lower Pacific Heights

Belinda Leong and Michel Suas—the bakers behind B. Patisserie—will team with chef John Paul Carmona to open a full-service French-American restaurant a few doors down from their Lower Pac Heights flagship.
