A Highbrow Commute

 Dancing about infrastructure.

Your Muni ride should get a little more enriching, at least for a weekend, when the San Francisco Trolley Dances series returns for its 13th year (Oct. 15–16). The program consists of seven free site-specific performances, beginning at the Harvey Milk Memorial Library in the Castro. From there, audiences walk to several nearby performances, then hop a quick streetcar ride to Montgomery Street, where they take in a few others before finally ending up on the steps of Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Sure beats your typical commute.
