Chikara Ono, who owns Delage and AS B-Dama, takes over the former Yume sushi restaurant space—a hidden-away, upstairs spot on the main drag in Alameda. The menu is a work in progress, but will likely focus on sushi and kaiseki cuisine.

San Francisco’s gleaming new performance venue (pictured above) will include three full bars with food service—plus a speakeasy-style sister bar-restaurant downstairs called Fifth Arrow, which will also come equipped with three bowling lanes.

Binita Pradhan’s tiny FiDi Nepalese takeout window will soon have a 1,700-square-foot brick-and-mortar offshoot in SoMa. Expect plenty of momos and a particular focus on the cuisine of Nepal’s Newari community.
