Worth the Splurge

Spoonbar in Healdsburg has persuaded some of the Bay Area’s most wooed chefs to journey to Sonoma for its new monthly “Forks and Corks” dinner series.

Things kick off on January 26 with chef James Syhabout of Hawker Fare and Commis, with pairings planned ahead of time by sommelier Mark Bright of Saison (unfortunately Bright won't be in attendance). Brace yourself for six courses, including bouillon, sea urchin bathed in coconut, and chili-sesame short ribs. Too short notice? Here’s what’s coming down the pipeline.
