A kaleidoscope of partygoers paraded through Phoenix Art Museum’s Hot Night Gala.
THE PARTY It was hot, hot, hot at the Phoenix Art Museum’s gala, where colorful cocktail attire abounded. Hot Night is one of a series of benefit galas to have raised nearly $2 million in vital funds supporting exhibitions and arts education programs for the museum since 2015. THE SCENE Live samba dancing and tropical beats provided by SambaAZ performers outfitted in elaborate regalia turned the energy up at the party. Guests like Micheline Etkin and Gustavo Tabares mixed, mingled and munched in the museum’s Cummings Great Hall. Oscar De las salas, Gary Jackson, and Tracy and Jeff Katz, among others, lounged in a Benefactor Cabana with hors d’oeuvres and Champagne. THE HIGHLIGHTS Amada Cruz, the Sybil Harrington director and CEO of Phoenix Art Museum, thanked all guests, benefactors and committee members during the night, expressing her gratitude for the support. -Lauren Loudermilk
