The Original Taste returned to wine and dine Old Town Scottsdale.
THE PARTY Oenophiles and foodies flocked to the Scottsdale Waterfront, transformed with fire breathers, swaths of food and live entertainment for this en plein air bacchanalia.
THE SCENE Tables were lined with munchies from Valley favs like T. Cook’s, Sushi Roku, Sonata’s Restaurant, Sol Mexican Cocina, Casa Amigos, RnR and Stock & Stable, to name a few. Throughout the Waterfront, epicures dug into sliders, cookie dough and whipped fig goat cheese, indulging in a mélange of cuisines. Glasses overflowed from a selection of more than 100 wines from around the world. Guests could also belly up to the Tito’s caravan or snag a Código spicy peach margarita, among other spirits and beers on hand. THE HIGHLIGHTS The VIP afterparty catered to local night owls with live music, DJs and a special late night with the Executive Council 70, which uses Original Taste proceeds to help fund critical youth programs. -Lauren Loudermilk
