Bringing a taste of the Big Apple to Miami, New York’s design gallery Colony opens its first pop-up exhibition in the oceanfront mixed-use destination. As the American design market grows, Colony, a gallery, design studio and firm, champions independent designers in furniture, lighting and decor. Working with an elite roster of talent, including Studio Paolo Ferrari, Bec Brittain and Allied Maker, Colony on Collins will highlight voices shaping design and create work that is both collective and functional design.

Colony pop-up brings its collective of designers and furniture makers to North Beach at Ocean Terrace.
The pop-up is also partnering with former Miami Beach resident Sarah Sherman Samuel and Miami-born textile artist Anjuli Bernstein, connecting northern city taste to the southern beach hearts. From architectural planning and renovations to art curation, these designers strategize the desired space, ranging from contemporary to vintage. Each piece and room is curated with deep colors and textural finishes. Complete with high ceilings and exposed systems, the pop-up pays homage to its Canal Street roots in New York. Celebrate American designers through Colony, as it supports the community that creates it. Open Wednesdays 10-6 PM and by appointment, 7421 Collins Ave, Miami, @colonydesign
