Asado-style steaks and grilled shellfish are served with signature sauces, bringing the warmth and richness of open-fire cooking to the table.
Palm Beach Island welcomed a distinguished new addition to its dining scene on Dec. 3 with the opening of The Polo Room Palm Beach, an elevated concept led by internationally renowned polo icon Nacho Figueras. Nestled in the heart of Palm Beach, the restaurant brings together thoughtful cuisine, polished design, and the enduring allure of the polo lifestyle. Rooted in continental traditions with a personal nod to Figueras’ Argentine heritage, the menu highlights pristine seafood and prime meats alongside handcrafted empanadas, a raw bar, crudos, seasonal salads, and housemade pastas. Entrées range from indulgent lobster frites with hand-cut fries to savory Asado-style steaks, fish, and shellfish prepared over the grill, paired with classic accompaniments like chimichurri or au poivre sauce. Desserts draw from Figueras’ childhood memories, including Mima’s chocolate mousse—his mother’s cherished family recipe—along with traditional flan and decadent dulce de leche crepes.
Rich textures, equestrian-inspired details, and curated art celebrate the timeless spirit of polo within Palm Beach’s sophisticated setting.
The bar program mirrors the kitchen’s attention to detail, offering signature cocktails such as The Twenty-Two Below Zero ºC Martini, featuring frozen olives, and The Polo Room Iceberg Skinny Cosmo, complemented by a wine list spanning more than 300 standout selections from iconic vineyards. Inside, the atmosphere is defined by rich textures, warm tones, and equestrian-inspired details that subtly echo the sport’s heritage and Palm Beach’s effortless sophistication. An exclusive art installation curated in partnership with photographer Ricardo Motran, known as “Snoopy,” features evocative images of Palm Beach polo moments and icons from the 1980s and 1990s.
From every corner to every bite, The Polo Room Palm Beach reflects a seamless blend of refined design, curated art, and the island’s effortless elegance.
For Figueras, The Polo Room marks a meaningful new chapter. “Opening The Polo Room is deeply meaningful to me and my partners from the Polo and Palm Beach Community,” said Nacho Figueras, founder and partner. “Polo has introduced me to extraordinary places, people, and flavors around the world, and this restaurant is a way to bring those inspirations to life. It’s my first venture into the culinary world, and I couldn’t imagine a more special setting than Palm Beach to share this vision.” Open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday beginning at 5 p.m., The Polo Room Palm Beach is poised to become a destination for locals, polo enthusiasts, and travelers alike.
