1. The Alex
The Alex, the intimate craft cocktail cellar and restaurant located in Georgetown hotel, The Graham, hosts a four-course dinner for Valentine’s Day Feb. 12-14. The menu features a roasted beets and goat cheese salad, a choice of pan seared rainbow trout or roast filet of beef, and ends with a chocolate lava cake and a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Newly appointed Executive Chef Franck Loquet serves up a five-course prix-fixe menu featuring dishes like team smoked scallops with vanilla Jerusalem artichoke puree and trout roe and roasted rose veal shop with salsify, Matsutake mushroom and port wine jus. 3. Brabo
One of Old Town’s most romantic spots, Brabo is offering a five-course prix-fixe menu for Valentine’s Day. Chef Harper McClure presents several sumptuous dishes on the special menu, like lightly poached Wianno oyster with preserved lemon, vermouth gastrique, hackleback caviar and mizuna.
