I am just really really excited about the Richard Hunt survey at the ICA Miami. And just as exciting—and although the details haven’t begun to circulate yet—I have it from a good source that folks are hard at work organizing a record release party for Miami’s unparalleled EDI legend, Dino Felipe, who just dropped a new album. icamiami.org

The exhibition that Rashid Johnson is curating in the Design District—with holdings from the Berkowitz Contemporary Foundation—includes works by some of my all-time favorite artists, such as Cy Twombly and Alberto Giacometti, among others. I’m also eager to experience ICA Miami’s exhibition of Joyce Pensato, which promises to be an energizing, gestural and large-scale presentation of the late artist’s work. miamidesigndistrict.com

My heart won’t let me miss attending Untitled Art Fair, NADA Miami and Prizm Art Fair. Among the larger-scale art fairs, Untitled and NADA have consistently included intergenerational and intersectional galleries and artists, reminding us of the importance of gathering in one room. Prizm Art Fair, founded by Mikhaile Solomon, was created to acknowledge and celebrate diasporic visual arts, and I attend every year! @laurynn_l

I’m especially looking forward to A World Far Away, Nearby, and Invisible at El Espacio 23 and Tania Candiani’s performance The World Beneath. This is a choral and instrumental collaboration with Concepción Huerta and Miami Sound Space, echoing and reimagining the speculative voices of organisms from beneath the surface. It’ll be a beautiful intersection of sound, community and materiality. The numerous galleries debuting at Art Basel Miami Beach always bring new energy and perspective to the week. elespacio23.org
