“This is not episodic medicine. It is a continuous, proactive partnership devoted to helping each person reach their highest level of health, vitality and purpose—and to keep choosing it for the rest of their life,” notes Dawn Mussallem, chief medical officer of Fountain Life. Having recently unveiled its highly anticipated Houston location, Fountain Life marks the city’s premier longevity destination and care clinic.
“At Fountain Life, we are changing where the story begins. Our model rests on three commitments: detect, prevent/ optimize and restore. We pair the most advanced diagnostics available with AI that reads patterns across billions of data points so we can identify risk while it is still silent and, in many cases, still reversible.” With proactive health optimization at the forefront, the company uses AI-guided diagnostics and advanced testing to extend healthspan and improve quality of life.
“Kirby Edmunds and I connected through a shared vision centered on innovation, relationships and creating meaningful experiences for people,” notes Alicia Smith. “We both value building strong communities and bringing together people who genuinely want to grow personally and professionally.”
Founded in 2020 by Tony Robbins, Peter Diamandis, Robert Hariri and William Kapp, Fountain Life welcomed Mussallem this past January after she left her post at the Mayo Clinic to join the next-generation longevity and preventive healthcare company.
Two of Houston’s leading philanthropic figures, Kirby Edmunds and Alicia Smith, have partnered with the initiative to help bring the conversation surrounding proactive wellness to the forefront. “To me, long-term health optimization is about being proactive instead of reactive,” notes Alicia Smith. Smith recently joined friends and family to celebrate the grand opening of Fountain Life’s fifth center, located in River Oaks on the ground floor of the Park House Houston building.

“For so long, healthcare has focused on treating illness after something goes wrong. What excites me about Fountain Life is the shift toward prevention, early detection, longevity and truly understanding what’s happening inside your body before symptoms ever appear.” Smith, along with fellow Houston philanthropist Kirby Edmunds, has joined the effort to help champion Fountain Life. “The mission resonates with me because it empowers people to take ownership of their future health. It’s not just about living longer—it’s about living better, with energy, clarity, vitality and quality of life,” says Smith.

The multi-award-winning wellness center, which spans 5,000 square feet, introduces an experience rooted as much in hospitality as in medicine, prioritizing personalization, discretion and long-term health optimization. “The vision is to establish a globally recognized standard for longevity care—one that is available to everyone ready to approach their health with intention,” notes Mussallem. “It begins with an evaluation unlike anything in conventional medicine. What sets us apart is not only the data we gather, but how we read it. Our advanced precision AI platform synthesizes more than 15 billion data points to surface patterns and risks that traditional medicine would rarely catch in time.”
