The Old Post Office set the stage for the third annual Lux Gala, an evening of live entertainment, charitable gaming and luxury auctions benefiting Mercy Home for Boys & Girls. More than 600 guests were in attendance at the event, which was emceed by CBS2 Chicago anchor Joe Donlon and co-chaired by Richard Price, executive chairman of Mesirow, and Brian Price, CEO of Mesirow Wealth Management. A member of Mercy Home’s Board of Regents, Price emphasized Mesirow’s commitment to community impact, while Father Scott Donahue, president and CEO of Mercy Home, thanked donors and sponsors. The gala raised over $1 million, bolstered by a $400,000 matching challenge that was met and exceeded during the paddle raise, with proceeds supporting housing for more young people at Mercy Home’s West Loop campus.
