The new designation lands just one day before June 21, which is officially recognized by the City of Miami Beach as John Lermayer Day in honor of the late visionary co-founder who helped bring Sweet Liberty to life. The two dates are now celebrated back-to-back each June, complementing the bar’s founding spirits.
“We’re incredibly honored to receive this prestigious proclamation from Commissioner Vicki Lopez and Miami-Dade County," says Dan Binkiewicz, co-owner of Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. "Sweet Liberty has always been about bringing people together and to be recognized in this way means so much to our team. We're grateful for the support of our community over the years and this is an honor we’ll always cherish."
